I actually booked the tour for my wife who is a huge Beatles fan (I was in Liverpool for the football) but it happened to be much more interesting that I expected. In 1,5 hours I learned a lot about the Fab4 and the city. Our guide Jean was very knowledgeable and her presentation was very interesting. She tells you the little interesting facts that are not always included in the touristic guide books and was always happy to answer the questions we had. During the tour you get to see and learn about the Liverpool Docks, the Fab4 statue at the waterfront, the "Double Fantasy" John Lennon & Yoko Ono exhibition in the Museum of Liverpool (very impressive), the Cathedral of Liverpool (but not part of the walk) and of course Matthew street and the Cavern club where it all began. It's definitely a must when visiting Liverpool. One more time - Thank you, Jean !

This tour was run by Rob, so I knew it was going to be good after reading his previous feedback. We started at 10.30 and overran slightly (leave a bit of extra time as you won't want to miss anything Rob tells you). Using a mixture of Beatles and Liverpool information, along with an array of album covers and other props, Rob led us on a journey of Liverpool with The Beatles at the heart of his stories. Such passion about The Beatles comes through clearly. Rob also allowed time for photos and allowed us to visit the Cavern Club mid tour when it was a lot quieter. Only 5 on our tour which was great, so don't be put off doing this tour in Mid November.

Rob gave us a generous, comprehensive and informative walking tour. We lingered with him later in the Mathew Street precinct and enjoyed even more entertainment. His approach was that of mature experience and Liverpool friendliness. He knows and respects local characters and long time residents.

My friend Christine and myself did this walk on Tuesday 15th May and thoroughly enjoyed it. Neil our tour guide was very informative and made the tour good fun. At the end of the walk we passed the LIPA building and we were amazed to find out that Paul McCartney was due to leave shortly, so we waited about 10 minutes and lo & behold we saw Paul. What an ending to a Beatles tour! Thank you for a wonderful few hours. I thoroughly recommend this walking tour to anyone thinking of going.

Really enjoyed your tour this afternoon, need to come again, lots to see and explore, Thanks very much Tina

Hi Neil Great to hear that you're having an exciting 50th anniversary including your Aussie Radio interviews and Glenn A Bakers visit. I have attached a copy of my treasured Beatles ticket which seems to pale in to insignificance in light of your work. We're still banging on to our friends about the tour we did with you and only hope you find yourself spreading the passion with some of our mates from Melbourne. Cheers Sherryn

Why choose a walking tour?

Our walking and combo tours have something for everyone and use the Beatles theme to show how and why the city has changed in a fun way. You'll be shown hidden places you cannot see on a bus or coach and have more freedom and time to look around and enjoy the experience.

You will learn Magical History of The Beatles by seeing the clubs they played and places where they stayed and even touch the statues and sculptures, as we walk along the streets many of which are unchanged since the early 1960's.

There are opportunities on a walk to ask questions and the tour is a more personal experience. Check out all the reviews and great photos of our previous tours on the Facebook link at the top of the page.
